1. Product Description
Hot melt PVDF fluorocarbon coating refers to a coating mainly composed of polyvinylidene fluoride resin (PVDF) as the film-forming substance; This coating has particularly superior properties due to the high electronegativity of the introduced fluorine element and strong carbon fluorine bond energy. Especially outstanding in terms of weather resistance, heat and humidity resistance, salt spray resistance, chemical resistance, etc., and possessing unique non stick and low friction properties. At present, hot-melt PVDF fluorocarbon coatings have been developed in China for decades, and their excellent outdoor application performance has been widely recognized by the market and industry.
II. Application Fields
This series of fluorocarbon coatings is mainly used for coating substrates such as aluminum alloy, galvanized steel, stainless steel, etc., such as aluminum alloy curtain wall panels, aluminum profiles, and stainless steel plates. It is widely used in outdoor decoration such as shopping centers, sports stadiums, airports, TV towers, office buildings, shopping malls, etc. It plays a protective and beautifying role in buildings, while maintaining long-lasting and bright colors.
III. Product Parameters
This series of fluorocarbon coatings (FT-A/B/H) includes primers, topcoats, varnishes, diluents, etc. Depending on the color, gloss, pigment used, and usage requirements of the topcoat, three-layer coating with clear varnish and two-layer coating without clear varnish can be provided. The colors are detailed in the color chart.
4、 Construction process of solvent based PVDF fluorocarbon coating
The above process is“ Two coats/three coats and one drying; The construction process usually controls the thickness of the primer film to be 8-10um, the thickness of the topcoat film to be 25-30um, and the total film thickness of the two coats to be 35-45um. If clear varnish needs to be sprayed, the thickness of the clear varnish should be controlled at 8-10um, and the total film thickness of the three coats should be 40-50um.
V. Product Performance and Standards
Performance execution standards: Refer to and meet the performance requirements of industry standard HG/T3793-2019, as well as national standards GB/T5237.5-2017 and GB/T23443-2009, and also comply with the American AAMA 2605 standard. Please refer to the following test report for the test results.
